Building 228 2 North
Weekdays: 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Weekends & Holidays: Noon to 7:00 p.m.
Blind Rehabilitation Center
Weekdays: 3:30 to 10:00 p.m.
Weekends: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Holidays: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Intensive Care Units
Please ask the nurse or unit secretary for an ICU handbook
which outlines visting hours and other important information.
Visiting Rules and Guidelines
We encourage family and friends to visit our patients whenever it is
medically appropriate. Some basic rules and guidelines include:
- Patients are limited to 2 visitors at any one time.
- Children under 12 years of age may visit patients only when
permission has been granted by the attending physician or nurse.
Inpatients may visit with children under age 12 in lobby of the
building.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Visitors may not bring food or beverages to patients without
authorization from the unit dietitian or nurse. Visitors are asked not
to eat in patient rooms.
- Special restrictions for visitors may apply on the Psychiatry and
Substance Abuse units. Please contact the unit staff for applicable
rules in these areas.
